Jan Michael Campbell-Westlind is the President and Founder of Campbell-Westlind Associates LLC. As an intercultural trainer, Mr. Campbell-Westlind has assisted and facilitated the adjustment process to a new culture for a large number of corporate executives and their families from various countries. He has provided services to the largest intercultural communications firm in Scandinavia, SAS Intercultural Communication in Stockholm, Sweden.
He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Uppsala, Sweden. Mr. Campbell speaks English, Swedish and French. As a Foreign Service Officer for more than 20 years, Mr. Campbell-Westlind has spent more than 25 years overseas in ten different countries on four continents. With extended assignments in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Ivory Coast, Kuwait, South Korea, the United States and Sweden he has, together with his family, acquired an intimate knowledge of the challenges that expatriates face in an overseas environment. While on assignment he also experienced the Iraqi invasion and occupation of Kuwait in August of 1990 and led the evacuation of Swedish citizens out of Kuwait through Iraq and Turkey. He has traveled extensively visiting over 40 countries on four continents. Mr. Campbell-Westlind has served as Vice President of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce - Philadelphia Chapter 1999-2003; served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Swedish American Historical Museum, Philadelphia 200-2002; is a member of the International Society of Intercultural Education, Training and Research SIETAR; the French American Chamber of Commerce - Philadelphia and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
Elisabeth Campbell-Westlind is Vice-President and Co-Founder of Campbell-Westlind Associates, LCC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Languages and International relations from the University of Uppsala and the University of Stockholm in Sweden. Elisabeth has, together with their three children, accompanied her husband to numerous postings abroad including Pakistan, Kuwait, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Ivory Coast. Elisabeth is also fluent in Swedish and French. William Baldwin has been assisting Campbell-Westlind Associates LLC since 1998 providing orientations on American history and politics. Bill received his B.A. in History from La Salle University in 1987 and then went on to graduate from Temple University School of Law in 1990. Although he has practiced law for the past thirteen years at a number of non-profit agencies, he continues to maintain a keen interest in American and European history. From 1991 through 2000, Bill was an adjunct history instructor at Delaware County Community College in Media , PA. His association with Campbell-Westlind Associates LLC has given him the opportunity to share his love of history and politics with individuals relocating to work in the United States.
